SPIN Lab

사회정책혁신모델링연구실(SPIN Lab)은
주로 노인 대상 사회정책과 사회서비스가 '설계된 대로' 작동하는지를 데이터로 확인하고,
작동하지 않는 지점을 다시 설계하는 연구를 합니다.

사회보장 행정데이터와 대규모 패널자료를 인과추론·시뮬레이션 방법으로 분석하고,
그 결과를 정책 설계와 전달체계 개선으로 연결합니다.
정부 정책만으로 메울 수 없는 빈틈을 확인하고 민관협력이 시도하는 사회혁신의 가능성과 한계를 함께 검증합니다.

The Social Policy & Innovation Modelling Lab (SPIN Lab) uses data to examine whether social policies and social services — primarily those for older adults — work “as designed,” and redesigns the points where they do not.

We analyse social security administrative data and large-scale panel surveys with causal inference and simulation methods, and connect the findings to policy design and delivery system reform.
We identify the gaps that government policy alone cannot close, and test both the promise and the limits of the social innovation that public–private partnerships attempt.
